Welcome to the Mason County Senior Activities Association (MCSAA), a 501(c)3 non-profit founded by local community members in 1981. MCSAA operates the Mason County Senior Activities Center, The Friendly Center for 50 and Better, in downtown Shelton and its major funding source, Nifty Thrifty, Your Hometown Thrift Store, located behind McDonalds in the Gateway Plaza. .

Center Community Services and Activities
Senior Nutrition Lunch: is available at the Center Monday through Thursday at 12 Noon. The suggested donation for seniors 60+ is $3.00. For those under 60, the cost is $6.18.
Blood Pressure Checks: The first and third Thursdays from 10:30 am to 12 noon
Information and Assistance: The third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 am,
Merridee Anderson from the Lewis, Mason, Thurston Area Agency on Aging visits.
Health and Wellness Workshops and Speakers: Various free presentations.
Foot Care: By Appointment with State Licensed Michelle Gambler for $17.00.
Free Medical Lending Library: Borrow walkers, toilet seat boosters, wheel chairs, grabbers, etc. from our lending library at no charge.
Gift Shop: Books, quilts and needle arts items, hand-made gifts, greeting cards, and jewelry for purchase with all proceeds going to the Center
Travel: Adults 21 and older can participate on casino trips and many trips.

Open: Monday - Friday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturdays 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Quality donations accepted 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday – Saturday. Free pick-ups by appointment.
Your quality donations are greatly appreciated. Please do not drop them off at other times because the donations cannot be properly processed and protected from the weather.
